Pineapples are a rare find in any quality and only found in one location worldwide, White Cliffs - Australia. So far this year there have only been 8 found and all the best have been locked away in personal collections, with only three being released for sale to the general public. Of the three, this would be one of the better ones. This specimen has a nice round shape with sharp and distinctive points. I class this opal as potch - it is devoid of colour except for a light blue hue, but would make an excellent addition to any collection. There is a low undisclosed reserve price on this specimen equal to the field price it would be expected to fetch at White Cliffs. The winning tender will be the highest offer above the reserve. Most reductions occurred in those previously priced over $200.00 per stone. Along with our new supplier, we have also expanded our range on offer with a few new varieties. It has been a long time coming, but we have now listed some of our "Facet Rough" and "Cabbing Rough" stock. This material has been selling very well and we are running low on stock at present.We are still awaiting a large parcel of our African material, which has been held up due to unforeseen delays out of our control. We hope to receive these items in the very near future and there is some very nice material in this lot. We also have a large order of cabbing material on its way - this will be ready in about 10 weeks; There is over a tonne of material comming by sea and will include Gem Grade Bloodstone; Blue, Green and Pink Aventurines; Jaspers; Agates; Amethyst and Rose Quartz. Our Iolite and Moonstones have been exceptionally popular and there is over 20,000 carats of each also expected to arrive next month. We have also recently began supplying Jewellery Packaging, Point of Sale and Display products. These will be added to our site in the coming months.
